1988 s4 hard starting problem
88 s4 intermittently won't start unless the accelerator pedal is depressed. .....after start idles and runs perfect. Any help with what this might be please? Car has 11k on it.

with the low miles you might consider pulling the vacuum lines from the dampers and the fuel pressure regulator smell for gas if no gas smell then,
adding some techron to the fuel as well as 8oz of MMO to the gas do lots of short runs so the chemicals have time to work, you probably have gummed up injectors.
Also check the coil wire ends for corrosion and make sure that the coil wires are not touching any metal on their runs as they can short out
