Ac drier orientation

Am putting my ac system back together from the headlight motor arm / condenser fight (arm won). I can't find in my WSM an indicator of which side is the "in" side indicated on the drier. Is in the side from the passenger side with the hose or is it the switch side that connects to the bottom of the condenser?

Just did this repair. My replacement unit has an "IN" molded into the input which is a square nut. I believe the original part was labeled the same. The other side has no label. The "IN" side faces the center of the car.
