Hi fellow shark lovers. I'd just like to say a big thank you to to the contributors to this forum - you guys saved me over $700. I too had a broken door handle mechanisim and with your excellent tech advice I had the confidence to tackle the job myself. I did however re-acquaint myself with a few long forgotten swear words!

Its the kind of job that is way easier when you know what the right steps are...

Still fiddly & awkward but doable in a few hours... otherwise - hard to know where to start...

Wish Porsche had used a better quality casting for the hinge in the first place though...
