Thanks Jerry.
No. Just a little too much driving time so I'm flying to LA.

The GTS going to the detail shop in the morning for a good cleaning and buffing.
I'll fix the door panels and console.
Perhaps redo the cashmere interior seats and panels with cork.

The windshield looks the worst. There's no frit line at the bottom so you can see the felt on the front edge of the dash and some gaps. The gaps are a result of not having the frit line which is supposed to protect the urethane sealant and front edge of the dash from ultraviolet.

I'm thinking of having it taken out, having a frit line put on then re-installing.
I've got to do some research on what type of paint or material is used in making it. I'm hoping a glass shop will be able to tell me.

Rob goodluck with your new ride,
I am sure it will be spectacular after you work your magic on the interior.

Nice score Rob. Is it Navy Blue or Black? (kinda hard to tell in the pic) Is the interior raff leather or perforated? Details! Details! Inquiring minds want to know! You know the drill...

Probably not. I have a bunch of product I'm going to be bringing along with the wife, so I'll drive the Cayenne.

My 91s4 will be there. Joe is driving it instead of his 80 928.

I think its called metallic midnight blue. Non perforated cashmere seats, cashmere carpet, black vinyl dash & doors. 96K miles on it.

Nice catch. It's a shame about all the holes in the doors, dash etc. but I know a good interior guy. I'll send you his number.

Midnight Blue Metallic is the best color for a GTS.

Great looking car. I love the cashmere/black interior. The drive across PA & OH on I-80 is not bad in a 928. I recently drove from the Detroit area to CT and back over a weekend in mine. It just ate up the miles.

PA & Ohio were easy. The GTS purred the whole way.
NJ was really bad. 16 miles in two hours. The worst traffic jam I've ever been in.
