We welcome Ula to the stable
Well the Chattanooga car is here... now named Ula (Hawaiian der is Sacred Red, Celtic is Gem of the Sea... Sacred Red Gem of the Sea = Guards Red shark works for me )
Props to Mark Vickery at Eurasian Auto in Chattanooga, a GREAT guy to work with. His description and pictures were excellent and his handling of the car couldn't have been more perfect.
Grant Mies out of Greenville, SC for snatching the car in a single so she didn't have to ride around the country with strangers.
The local Rennlist guys for pointing it out and doing a walk around... you guys were not kidding... THANK YOU!
Now the car..
Exterior.. pictures can't do this car justice, it's just that nice. Give the detail guy a couple hours and it's a 9.8
Interior.. near perfect, give me 2 hours and it's a 9.8
Engine... the biggee and won't know for a bit. The car is at local guru Ray Munsch's shop. He and I have done a couple tb failure/slips together already and will do this one at his place.
Gonna take our time and do this right, powdercoat, replating hardware, etc so this will take a bit, but she deserves it.
Will update as we get into the engine.
