Default long time no see.....

just wanted to say Hi to everybody...

I have been super busy at work, and trying to get the last little bot of stuff done to the house.....
What little time i have had has been spent with scouts with my son, and out in the boat, or scubadiving....

I have not given the 92 much seat time, and not much love....

I went for a spin the other day and realized i need more seat time...

I will be diggin in soon to fix the following prolems...

I need to clean the grounds.. i have had an idle problem, surging then cutting off. I hope this fixes the problem.

i need to remove the dash to put on my alcatara cover.....

i need to replace the hvac diaphrams

I also have to find the metal flapping sound... it has eluded me when i gas it hard, it sounds like metal flashing flapping in the wind.... it is not dependent on engine rpm. it rives me crazy... i have checked all the heat shields and flex plate.... nada...

we shall see.....

i'll try and post pics when i get rolling.

i should have the last of the trim work done on the house in a few weeks. that should free up some shop space for the 928 to take up the garage for a while;;

I just finished(except defroster flap diaphragm) hvac diaphragm replacements. Given enough notice it would be fun to drive down from Raleigh for a weekend and help out.

Not that I know exactly what to do all the time but after doing the job once I definitely know what NOT to do.

Cheers

Check the plastic plates at the base of the front grille - the horizontal ones that link the openings in the grille to the frame that holds the radiator cooling flaps.

come on down

weather is great this time of year....
we have a guest room we can set you up in.

I live in downtown morehead, so we are walking distance from great restaurants and bars.

having a few beers while wrenching is a requirement here..

Make a weekend of it and we can hit the water on our boat...
