did you cut off the small black collar around the connector at the distributor?
The new green wire has this black collar and it needs to be removed prior to installing the connector into the distributor

I did. First thing that I am going to do is pull the distributor back apart and make sure that I got everything back right. The voice in my head says that I missed the plug somehow.

ok, I have a signal back but same as before, EXTREMELY dim light when using a noid light. It was probably there earlier but just so dim that I didn't see it. Next I am going to move on to grounds, this now feels like a bad ground for the injection system, but I am open to suggestions too, I am new to EFI so learning as I go. Since I have ruled out the green wire, I am going to go back to my original thread at https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...l#post10695428. Thanks for all the help.
