Default Speedometer funny behaviour!

Hi,

My speedometer as developed, how should I put it, a “funny” behaviour!
It works perfectly, unless I do a tight left corner! Immediately it stops working! Yes, it’s true and confirmed!
It restarts after a few km’s in a more or less straight line or immediately if a do a tight right corner!
I know, I know, there’s an easy solution, don't turn left lol!
More seriously now, the contacts on the spare tyre well are clean so is the plug on the transmission.
So, some bad contacts on the cluster or bad speedometer gears would cause this funny behaviour? Or someone have any other idea?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards

See Dwayne's excellent thread on the instrument cluster. It might also be the flexible circuit at the back. Typically the rivets need to be soldered or clamped onto the print circuit.
But Dwayne's write up says and shows it all. Search is your friend.
My non working speedo turned out to be a combination of issues. Broken ground wire running from back to front, missing sensor, rivets in printed circuit.
Good luck!
