I get quicker response if I call them. They still list the Addcco made units on their site. Not sure about stock on hand thought.

I have the addcco bars on my GT . makes the car nicely balanced . There was some issues with the bars ,the rear needed to be cut /one hole removed on the ends . and the front bar was almost 45" wide causing the tires to contact the bar when turning . I re bent the bar to 44" and now no contact lock to lock . With 8" wide rims

Emailed them last week and they have no supply or know when they will get them. I will keep checking every few months.

Jeannie said she replied to my previous email but it didn't hit my server so they may be having issues with emails.

You are venturing down a bumpy road mired in controversy young grasshopper. The holy grail of Addco sway bars has been dry for sometime and one could only speculate when (if ever) they may appear again. Long story short, they are hand made (sort of) and the guy at the plant that knew how to stamp these is no longer there and the other guys haven't figure out how he did it exactly (or something to that effect).

Driving by the Addco plant during an unexpected detour back in June reminded me that such a great item exists, but only by a lucky few that bought them when they where available. I recall watching a batch be produced, but those were all spoken for and the line of those wanting these is very long. So once in a blue moon these are availabe, so maybe your timing is right.

How are those Hollow Spoke Turbo Twist working for ya?

I think Mark parted a car (posted pics here) a year or so ago that had one. Maybe a local enthusiast grabbed it.

IIRC 928sp had a backlog of the Addcos but they required modification due to manufacturing error. Maybe that was the rears, though. I recall some dialog between 928srus and 928sp on here on the matter.

As I have always said the DR (Adcco) sway bars are the best. I tried fitting one to the front of my GTS but because I had 9J wheels they clashed on lock. DR agreed to take it back and modify it for me and even sent a pick up tag for collection which we used - sadly never heard or seen of again. So I am out my money and my sway bar.

Another customer sold me a replacement and we have tried to compress the bar by an inch but need a bigger press than we have available. Need to do what Terry did as per post #5 above.

Sometime ago I talked with Adcco about producing a 928sRus sway bar of their design. Unlike DR I know nothing about the design of sway bars and do not want or need to emulate his design. They are happy to do this and just need a car at their facility in NC (or SC) or FL for a couple of days.

If this is something worth resurrection I am happy to go down this path and review need and cost. I also have plenty of stock bars as templates. Surely the bar just needs to be stiffer than stock or???

Well judging by the response in the last few to my email address it is something that is needed.

Talked to a new company formed by Adcco ex employees and arranged to send them a set of stock bars. We will see what transpires.
