Default Looking for Struts

Guys, I'm still on a search for some gently used front struts. I have everything needed to do my entire front end, minus struts. Mine are so bad I cannot drive the car. Someone have something, let me know. I will likely have my current ones rebuilt sometime down the road.

You don't have struts on your 928, you have shocks with spring perches. Used shocks will be a waste of time and money (unless you can get some new ones with little use) ... you should install new ones, but could go with used springs in good shape, if they need renewal.

then save your pennies till you can.

putting used anything on the suspension is wasting money and time,
after you install the new used shocks you will need an alignment.

The only used shocks i would consider would be a lightly used set of Bilstiens or Konis

Two new Koni shocks would be $290 shipped from Tirerack. They have a credit service threw Paypal called "Bill me later" so you might be able to finance them.

Well I set up a Lemon aid Stand last night and ended up buying the Koni's from Tire Rack. $286.84 shipped. I do endorsements for a local speed/suspension shop in town so all my labor is free. They love working on my car. The struts complete the final pieces to rebuild the entire front end including new springs and breaks. Shocks should be here on Friday. Car will go in that afternoon and by Monday... I'll be back on the road and ready to start selling lemon aid to get the rears done.

Good call.
Are the new springs factory? Sport or non-Sport?

Look forward to hearing/reading your driving impressions w/Konis.

The springs are just stock springs from a doner. PO had heated up mine and welded them to lower the front.

Believe it or not but it drives fairly straight. I bottom out just driving down the road over the slightest humps.
