Default Carpet question

The carpet in the pedal box behind the pedals keeps folding over, is it supposed to be glued down ?

Yes, but if in the car's history there was any reason brake fluid got in the cabin the carpet will separate. See if the carpet is dry.

Yes.
The center console piece should extend under the gas pedal bracket on the firewall.
The carpet to the left of that should be glued along with the left kick panel carpet that surrounds the hood latch handle.
Use a contact cement formula adhesive, like 3M 80 or 3M 90 for that area.

Thanks, No brake fluid stains, it just looks like 30 year old contact cement has dried and failed I guess
