Default The Tampa Convertable on "Nice Price or Crack Pipe"

It was only a matter of time before someone took notice of this thing. Its overwhelmingly skewed toward the "crack pipe". http://jalopnik.com/for-6-000-this-9...ium=socialflow

One too many zeros on that price. Looks like a parts car - unless you need a sunroof!

Hey guys,

i spoke to the owner about a half year ago. The car was and apearantly is posted everywhere. He told me he did the conversion him self! Probably just chopped the roof of with no reinforcements to the car at all! The softtop just folds back and the whole assembly is made by him. Furthermore he refused to send me an email with more pictures about the car, year and and and... Yeah right, just come down, bring cash and take it.
I'd say - NO!

just my 3 cents!

who is that Fritzo clown that thinks he knows Porsches. Read his comments below. Hopefully he posts on Rennlist and will stop over here for an education on these cars. His ignorance is breathtaking.

It is the one at the Z-shop. I heard about it through a Z owner and went to check it out. As I recall, it was an '82, but I would need to find my notes to verify.

It looked OK, but not $6K.
