Fluidic Washer Nozzles '88S4

Just a quick search shows that there may indeed be fluidic nozzles that would fit inside a stock 928 nozzle:

And the Bowles Fluidics sure look like the right _shape_ for a 928 hood opening, or to be inserted into an old 928 nozzle "bracket" with minimal modification.

And to add to the list of items you did not know you needed, you could add a rear nozzle as well:

I don't mean to hijack the thread; but does any one know of a fluidic replacement nozzles for the early cars? I have a 1981 and would like to know if there are better alternatives to the stock nozzles.

Hmmmm. I had these 'fluidic' nozzles on my early Ford Explorer. Didn't know the terminology. They worked fine, but like all nozzles they demand purified water.
Truth be told, I'm insulated from stuff like this almost all my 928 time. It doesn't rain here much, and when it does I try not to drive the 928 if I can avoid it. The car gets cleaned at some level every time it's driven, and by the time the windows need cleaning, the whole car needs cleaning. For those that drive their cars in less ideal conditions, the fluidic nozzles might be an interesting option.
Knowing Porsche's tendencies towards technology evolution, and perhaps disregarding any patent issues with Ford, it would be interesting to know if fluidic nozzles are/were used on other later-model Porsche/M-B/VW/Audi/etc. cars. Perhaps we'd get lucky enough to find a factory piece that drops directly into the larger keyed holes in the later hood.

I just pulled a set of 2002 Subaru outback nozzles from a parts car here at my shop and they're very, very close to the stock OB nozzle dimensions. And as an added bonus, they're short, and have an inline check valve in the hose just before the nozzle.

I can confirm, that with very minimal modifications, and i mean minimal, they'll fit and function wonderfully on an '82. The bases are damn near identical dimensions. Did some very slight trimming and shaving with a sharp razor blade and they popped right in. Spray pattern isn't too steep, good standing still and also good coverage on windshield while moving.

Well the fleebay items were a fail. Too small by half for the holes in the hood. Good news is once I got it all apart I realized it wasn't the nozzle fitting that was broken. I eliminated the high intensity wash (stupid) system and now have washers. Still looking for fluidics though.

I too am looking for fluidic nozzles. I have replaced everything in my washer system except the nozzles and I can't get it to spray more than 1'. My nozzles are toast. Tried cleaning them with pin, paperclip, dental tools. No luck.
Just want to replace them with the fan spray.
