M28/11, M28/12 Engine for sale
I just brought home a 1981 928 Euro with a M28/12 300HP engine in it.
The engine runs (poorly) but it is all there, so if a guy was looking for the Euro intake, Heads, Cams and Throttle body - I have them. I haven't compression checked the motor, but I would assume it should be refreshed before being relied upon.
It was last driven in 2001, but it started up and drove into my trailer under its own power. Automatic trans.
The car is a total loss - has been sitting outside for 9 years with broken windows. I bought it for the engine.
Let me know if you are interested.

I'm entertaining offers. Just PM me if you are interested.
In my experience, I had to pay $1200 for the Euro heads when I found them; $1000 for the Euro cams when I found them; and $1000 for the euro intake manifold with throttle body when I found them.
Of course that doesn't net you the euro fuel distributor, WUR, nor the 4.7L engine with the high compression pistons.
Just PM me your wish if you are interested. I can either sell as-is to someone who wants to do their own work and save some $$, or I can rebuild it and sell it as rebuilt.

From the FAQ section, Per RV.
This is not eBay - please list an asking price - every time.
Example: "Asking $250, or best offer" is OK.
Plus - always indicate if shipping is included or extra.
Items with no asking price, 'make an offer', 'best offer over $xxx', 'PM/email me if interested', 'I don't know what it's worth / how much is it worth?', etc. may be removed without notice.
Adding your location is also beneficial if you want to sell the item locally.
Lastly -
When your item sells, please add a final post to the thread that indicates it was SOLD.
Do not delete the contents of the original post. This allows Members to search on previous similar items sold here and what they went for.
Though its fun to go fishin.....

Thank you Merlin.
Actually, when I started as a sponsor and a merchant, I was told I could post new product announcements only, and I could not solicit sales of our products directly on the Renn, and should never include the price. Thats why I don't, and I just include a link to our page.
I can see your point, and this is not one of our products. This is a little different.

Carl never puts prices up so it can drive traffic to the website. There for increasing his click per page count and driving up the value of his website.
Marks been here a very long time and always puts a price up. Odd really.

It's a turn off for me when I don't see a price for an advertised product. Just post a price when promoting or advertiaing a product and be done with it.

Merlin et al,
Sponsors are NOT obliged to post prices. This because some unpleasant folks - usually non-sponsors would take the opportunity to undercut posted prices by a few bucks via PMs. This is stated in the Posting Guidelines. So, please stop derailing this thread with posts about not posting a price.
