Thanks, I've got Adrian's email address. I'll also try to track down a kit through the local ZF agent.

I note there's a couple of kits on ebay.de - but I can't see some of the additional plastic bits I've seen pictures of in the kits that came from Adrian.

German ebay kit 2

One of my racks is leaking, but I'd rather get the complete set as apparently the Rennbay one is missing some bits.

The part is made by GSP and the part number is CVJ.VW22 . He paid A$85 each. he reported seeing them on ebay in US at $240...He has them fitted at last report, no real issues (apart from being a bit tight getting the circlip on) in a short amount of use. Check recent posts on landshark by Norman.

That part is also listed for an Alfa Romeo GTV6, but sadly, not available in the US.

The ebay kits are both missing quite a bit of stuff - especially the bushing and plastic insert Jim was mentioning which wear out and cause play of the rack in the housing. But also the black plastic cover that goes in top of the pinion housing seems to be missing and an obscure blue spring which I don't recall what it was for.
Best to try to get the full set through Adrian!

The CV joints last for a very long time. But they last twice as long if sides are swapped. This reverses their turn direction and makes them last double. New Grease with this procedure is a very good idea too...

They are both identical. On a 944BTW an even easier job....
