This is why I thought there might be a "T".
fact is I have two vacuum line fron the front.
One that runs along the driver side floor pan and the other runs up in the tunnel where the TT is. I do think the one that runs up with the TT is the one that goes to the 6 way vacuum conector.
The million dollar question is what does the other go to ?

Thats what I thought too but you can see I have two hoses and if I didn't know that one of them go's into the modulator I would sware that it was one hose and looped to the back of the car for no reason

Last night I put a vacuum gage on both lines and only one had vacuum I hooked that one up and the car still one had 1st and 2nd gear. I did top off the fluid but didn't seem to make any difference.

How much vacuum was measured ? If I remember in my readings, there is a prescribed amount of vacuum the modulator must have. Also, does the modulator hold vacuum ? It must.

I found out the problem was my kick down switch was stuck on. Just happen to be at the same time i was working on the trans.

It should have shifted to 3rd at about 90 or so.
Mine does......
