Well my fiberglass painted wing is rather damaged at the seams. Would need a complete dissect and rebuild. So...

I'm going to replace it with a very decent factory wing. No excessive expense, no risk. Easier to install as well.

If so, I think it would be best to put something like a clear thin vinyl. Don't need anything thick to protect the paint.
With a red car and wing, it would be better not to see anything black in between.
Bertrand, I'm still going to use this thin sheet. Will definitely help keep water away from the hardware. Now it will blend better.

tomorrow--check the alternator and determine why the system isn't charging. It was before I changed the pod. Nice. (83 US auto)

Taking it to my indy guy for timing belt and water pump and oil and filter change.

Friday taking it to stereo specialists to install a Becker CR-220 and CDC-3 changer (I know, I know...old units with no aux or anything like that, but I have a huge library of CDs and had the same in my '83 and loved it).

I wish I was typing about a leather dash pod and custom leather steering wheel but first things first...

I need to replace my fuel level sensor. I have one sitting in the closet waiting to go in, but cannot get that locking cap off the old one in the hatch.

Ordered a flasher for the 3rd brake light. Looks to be an easy install. Has 10 combos of flashing patterns to choose from. I don't know if I will choose 4 light pulses and hold red or 7 pulses and hold red when I hit the brakes - we'll see how it goes. I'll probably have to disable Lamp Control too, but I hope that I don't.

Andy, go and buy the biggest set of Channel Locks, they'll grab the plastic nut and you'll be able to turn it. They won't mess up the nut ether, just be careful.

Take the seats from the bags, check their function, and prep them to be installed! Later model seats going into my 83 auto.

Find out where in the wiring harness the gas gauge wire is broken. Replace wire going to the turn signal.
Put on OB belly pan. Add extra relay to A/C compressor clutch, fill with r134 and get it working.
Put blower motor back on; redye the center console, the arm rests, and what ever else black.
Put interior back in. Replace engine shocks. Re aim headlights so they light up the road and don't look like highs when they are lows.
Replace green wire, find S2 throttle body.....top end refresh.
All on my little old 81.

Gotta get back to it! fixing the door panels/armrests (PO removed without removing bolts so lots of E6000/plastic repair). Just finished replacing the manual lock pivot on the passenger side door. Some maroon (me) broke it upon removal of the old door panel. Almost ready to button it back up! Seats are looking nice!
