No problems Trevor. Let me know how/why you feel your Temp II needs replacing. Cold start issues?? Have you measured resistance across each pin and is it out of spec? Let me know more details as I am also replacing it due to a possible cause of occasional cold and warm start issues (ill not idle properly). Also feel that it could be running a little rich due to incorrect fuel trim by the LH due to incorrect reading from the sensor. Roger at 928sRUS commented tht he treats this as a consumable and replaces them every 5 years (approx). Look forward to hearing some info regarding your issue.

Cheers

Yes replacing due to cold start issues. I am new to the world of sharks and not very mechanical, but am willing to make an effort. Actually the reason I need a new one is because I previously thought I was changing the temperature gauge sensor. I was not having problems with cold starts with my original type ii. Anyway, ordered a sensor (the wrong one) and installed it....definitely the wrong one. I unfortunately threw out the old one and then had problems with cold starts. Now trying to get another one, which I have. Unfortunately, the new sensor is not working as well as I had hoped, still poor cold starts. Could I have messed something up with the wrong sensor in there for a while?
