Default BLU82 For Sale

I figured I would let you guys know about this before I put an ad in Hemmings Motor News...

Selling BLU82. After 5 years and about 200 miles it is time for a new collector to take over. My plan was never to keep BLU82 but to enjoy it for a time and then sell it to build a bigger garage... The time has come.

So if any of you guys are interested or know anyone who might be please put us in touch one with the other.

Asking price is $55k...
Miles 3713, each and every one documented. Probably the best documented 928 in the world actually! Every record and scrap of paper work is still with this car.
Everything (including the A/C) works and the car looks, drives and smells new.

Those who have seen it know this is perhaps the most significant 928 around. It is the 3rd lowest known mileage 928 (though there are likely one or two others out there that we just don't know anything about), behind the Ingram '89 GT with 351 miles and a Wilhoit '83 with something around 2600 miles. Asking less for this car than either of those and Arrow Blue/ Black is a better color combo as well (IMHO!)

Stunning car James; one of my all time favorites. GLWS.
btw, isn't Kermit a lower mileage car too? Don't know where it ended up. Maybe it has been driven?

Wow! I hope it stays in the Rennlist family. I've enjoyed looking at and reading about this car over the years, and I'd hate for it to go into hiding. Good luck with the sale!

Kermit does have lower miles but it is in Germany now...I was unclear but was speaking only of US cars.

Simon, I too hope it stays visible and in the open, known universe.

Wow, never knew that Porsche used the Maritim Blau before (and only year) 1991.

That's a very fair, perhaps low, price for AMAZING equipment.

Thinking of the discovery story gives me chills --- so cool!

Probably belongs being listed in PCA Panorama classified, also James, just because.

Wish this car was on the turf at the concours in Traverse City last month. No 928 there compared, not many other 9-cars would either.
