Hello,

The ABS light has come on in my 1989. As well, get a message in the digital read out. Comes on and goes out.

Anyone know what this could be?

Most likely wheel speed sensor related. Blow the dust out of the sensor and pulse ring (each wheel). If that doesn't fix it, clean the connections between the sensors and wiring harness.

If the light comes on before the car moves, probably the relay. If after it moves, sensor connector (round connector near each of the wheels and one on each front fender inner panel), broken wire or faulty wheel sensor.
