Staggered Phone Dials 16x8 23.3 offset rear wheels
Just did a DIY job on a set of used wheels. Turned out pretty good for my daily driver. I followed steps found on RL: clean/sand/fill/etching primer/ Einszett silber spray paint/matte clear coat (ceramic).
Front 16x7 et65 (stock 928 size)
Rear 16x8 et23.3 (from '85-'86 951)
No spacers
Tires are stock size 225/50/16 Continental ExtremeContact DWS

Thanks! I searched RL for refinish wheels (or paint wheels?) but didn't save any particular link.
The paint looks to be about 80% original. There are some resprayed areas on the passenger side, the PO said due to his daughter's bike having a close encounter with the car.
It's my daily driver and there is plenty of road rash across the nose but the paint does polish up nicely, especially for 30 year old Guards Red!
Yep open lugs on the back. The tires are 225 all around. I wanted to go 245 but high performance all-season in that size is difficult or impossible to find. I got caught with a bad valve and no spare tire, and had to go with what the tire place could install same day.
Thanks again, I think they made a huge difference over the original platinum slotted wheels.
