EZK speed pulse question
Hi All,
I noticed the EZK pinout #13 on the connector sends a speed pulse to the LH per the diagram. Does this pin also send the signal to the tachometer in the dash?
Or does the signal go somewhere else then to the tach?
I am anticipating having to use a separate tach driver as my ECU PWM output slots that can drive the tach are full with other things..
I want to avoid hacking into the pod to find that tach wire, as it is a pain. I would prefer to tap into it somewhere else to drive the tach with a 12V signal somewhere else.
Thanks in advance!!!

Kickdown relay and the diagnostic plug (#3 on the 12 pin).

The kick down relay is a fancy relay what just shorts the tach/timing signal to ground for a portion of a second when actuated. If removed, expect rough shifts! If installed in a 5speed car, expect random stalls as voltage floats and it shorts randomly.
