'87 S4 intake reinstall question
Is this normal/correct routing for this hose to the MAF elbow duct? It seems to want to lay here naturally, but the end bolt on the throttle shaft touches it. It is not binding the throttle in any way. Just want to make sure this is how it should be. Thanks.

Make sure that both plastic elbows are orientated correctly in the air guide rubber elbow. There are marks on each to align correctly. Very important!. That should set the hose in the correct position.

Thanks, I see the alignment marks and they are correct on both sides. So it is normal for this hose to run along the cylinder head and even touch the throttle shaft end apparently...

you will note if you pull the cable that the nut portion thats touching the hose is stationary when the cable moves,
so its not going to grind away into the side of the hose but rather rest next to it
