Greg, I am confused...unless we are using your custom lines, isn't this exactly what we have to do to replace the plastic lines with rubber, such as with Roger's standard kit?

I actually do not sell the kits anymore unless the buyer accepts all responsibility for fitting and maintaining the hoses. In theory the barbs could cut into the inner wall of the rubber hose but in practice this does not appear to be an issue, however it is essential that the hoses are inspected regularly and the tightness of the clamps checked. As you found you can buy the correct hose and clamps from Wurth.

If you want fit and forget then Greg's hoses are the way to go but not everyone has the money to follow that route.

Currently working with Cohline to get the plastic lined hoses for an economy set.

Back on topic. I have ordered the hose but delivery is about two months. They ship to the USA once a month by container out of Germany so we will have to be patient.
The hose part number has changed to 3124.800 and the ferrules do not have to be crimped and as thought there purpose is more cosmetic.

I have a new Porsche (Cohline) front hose here and tried the 50mm bend radius test - absolutely no way will it achieve 50mm and kinks long before this. So the U hose will still be an issue.
