Following up from the first annual Sharks in Nowhere last year, we are planning on having the event July 20th this summer.
Rod Underwood has graciously offered to host the event at his place again It is a great venue, and already has half a dozen native 928's and a lift and plenty of tools... what else can you ask for. Rod is conveniently located in the middle of nowhere, immediately east on 332 from 69 in the greater Muncie, IN area.
Last year, being the first year, was a learning experience for the group. It takes time to build a strong regional event like Hell, so we are going to start off slow, and make this a day event. If anyone wants to stay in the area, they are welcome to crash at my place the Friday before or that Saturday evening
We will plan for an 11:00am start, and run though the evening. Indy928 will provide food and beverages, but feel free to bring picnic style side or interesting beverages if you want to contribute.
We will have several Sharktuners on hand, as well as a Theo Tool to run scans on any 87+ 928. Also available will be the Porken Timing tools if you need to get your timing back in spec. If you have parts you want to swap or sell, bring them with you.
We are in the process of laying out both a fun run route and a good Sharktuning loop to get some of the more critical load cells – there is an advantage to being in nowhere.
Also, it is worth mentioning that Indy928 is very non-discriminating in that we have joined forces with our local watercooled brethren, so don't be surprised to see a handful of 944s and the odd Boxster or Cayman. This is certainly not a 928 exclusive event and very family friendly.
If you are planning on coming, please post in the thread, or send me a PM so we can get a rough headcount.
Thanks,
Indy928 Crew

Hi Rich,
In my opinion no... a complete TB WP job would be too much for this event. Taking off a cam tower cover and showing how to check the tension, inspect the gears and possibly adjust the timing might be doable.
Hope you decide to make it down.
