Default 80 us auto, no start sometimes....

Ok, symtom always appears after driving car engine at operating temp. I shut off engine come back 5-20 min later... Cranks no start. Fuel pump buzzing, lights on dash working as normal. Give a shot of starting fluid n she fires right up.

It has a one year old fuel pump in it. Have not checked fp.

Any suggestions?

Been daily driving it 100+ miles per day for over a month. Problem just cropped up in last 2 days. Only happened 3 times. weather in co sunny and temps ranging from 70's at night to near 100 during days.

replace the fuel pump check valve
and on the accumulator see if it is leaking
unscrew the plug on the end of the part
stick in a piece of wire then smell to see see if its got fuel on it
you may have to replace the accumulator
add some MMO and techron to the gas

Nice quick response as always. Thx stan. I will do tonight or tomorrow got a day full of apppointments today. I ran mmo through the tank bout a month ago to help clean out fuel system.

Also replaced the injector orings all 16. It was missing 7 of the lowers....the upper 8 were no better than 30 yo plastic lol! Running much better.

Gotta replace the upper trans cooler hose too. Its leaking a lot of oil now.
