If you do stay until next weekend (15th they got a Wine Festival there which you can taste test unlimited wine, then on the 16th it is the bacon festival where you can taste test unlimited bacon stuff plus unlimited drink from 16 brewerys)

I just pounded down Hwy 5 to Del Mar
Had to go to the County Fair for an awards presentation. Spent the night and drove home. The Shark ran perfectly!!!!
From Oakland to Del Mar in 6.5 hours. Could not have done this using a commercial airline if you factor in going to the airport, arrival and renting a car etc.
On the way down I averaged 18.5mpg and on the way back averaged 19.7. My speed was around 85mph 70% of the time.
Aircon was marginal and quit 3/4's of the way back on 5. I must have a leak
Now I get to do it again on this Thursday. Going to look into this AC leakage.

Wife flew home in 2:25, and got 17mpg.
