Alex Kader's 928 wins 2nd Place at Autos In The Park
What a beautiful day for Jack Griffin's 8th Annual Autos In The Park Car Show. Local 928 owner, Alex Kader won 2nd place in the 1980 and new newer German cars. We had over 180 cars enter the Concours today. Congrats Alex!

2nd Place at Autos in the Park
Well, knock me down with a feather...I won second place for post 80's German cars at the "Autos in the Park"! Got my picture being presented a plaque with Jack Griffin. It was an honor to meet Jack and be presented by him. If you know your LeMans, Daytona and Sebring history, you might know who Jack is: http://www.dfwautoclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5385
Andy Kay, Mike, Brad Simmons and two other 928's were in attendance today. The weather was perfect and the Cooper Clinic was a wonderful host.
I was beat out by a beautiful 944, Guards Red (Damn those red cars...) Met some really great people out there from the PCA Maverick Region to the local Ferrari club. I won't miss this one next year.
P.S. I still don't know how I won this one! If you could have seen the beautiful cars that were in attendance. I actually left early to get some chores done at the house because I just knew I was not at the level of these other guys out there. Go figure, so I'm a knuckle head. I had to drive all the way back to get my trophy after Andy (and a Ferrari buddy of mine) called me up and said to get my a$$ back there, that I had won 2nd place.

Thanks Andy! I could not have done it without your advise on car care and Griot's products!
Yeah, I'm still a little in shock over that one. I showed up to look more than participate so go figure. Next time I will vacuum the carpets.
Here's the picture of Jack and I. Jack's a great guy to talk to and will make you feel right at home.
