Default What should this be connected to?

This is on the left/passenger side just behind the radiator. Every other wire in the harness this comes out of connects to the jump start post. The insulation on the connected side is blue and green, and there is a single spade connector inside the open end. I have not noticed anything not functioning correctly. Anyone know where this goes?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

The water temperature sensor (transmitter) should feed into pin 5 an your 14 pin connector. It is blue/green. From the 14 pin connector, it feeds to CE panel. I'm not sure if that is to or from the 14 pin unit. Seek and you shall find.

^^^ yes its the hot post cover,
then you need a stud cover to hold it on,
early cars had a push on stud cover,
S4 has a threaded stud and cap
