Default One down. One to go!

Whitey just sold on ebay; doing a ppi on Tuesday. That was fast. I hope I have as much luck with blue.

Blue sold today. PPI is already done and the funds should hit the bank tomorrow.

It's an interesting sale; the buyer,a professional race car driver out of Austin, is out of the country. He sent his head mechanic down to do the PPI before bidding and they liked what they saw. He was a little lower than I wanted but he bumped the offer up a little out of courtesy to my request.

In case anyone is curious, I got 2k less than I originally paid for the two cars. If I had been willing to market the cars harder I'm fairly confident I could have broke even. But it's worth it to me to be finished quickly with very easy sales.

Now that the Porsches are gone the realtor will be by tomorrow to sign agreements and put the house on the market. We will have all our docs ready in a couple of weeks to apply for residency in Panama. We're in a position now where if the house sells fast we will be able to move as fast as necessary.

Next on the list; guns. I'll probably do an inventory today or tomorrow. When it's completed I'll post the list in the Gun section.

It's interesting, I always thought I would feel a little sadness when I sold the cars. Happily, I don't. I had my fun with them and they were sold for a wonderful reason. VIVA LA PANAMA!!!!!

BTW, if timing works out we're planning a major Texas Shindig to say goodbye to dear business associates, friends and family. Real Texas bar-b-que, professional fireworks, band a couple of kegs. More about that when plans are in place, budgets already approved.

Woohoo!!! We're havin' us a wingding!!!!!!

Worth every penny for the white one - the most fun I have had with my clothes on.
However I just drove a new 991 and WOW!!!!!!

The Blue one is worth the BIN price and more. Good luck my friend

As wonderful as owning the Porsches was, I am sure Cheryl would agree with me that the people we met thru the cars were far more gratifying than the cars. We simply cannot list the many people we cherish and would never have known but for the cars.

Funny. You buy a ride and you find along the way the people that make the ride worthwhile.

Congrats Randy, glad the new owner of the blue car is in Austin, just wish it had been me and not someone else! Hopefully we'll get it to see it at one of our 928 GTGs here!

Thanks, Tom. I'm sure you'll see around town and in a much better condition than I had it in. I expect he'll restore it and make it a 10 in all respects.
