The insulation stuff you are looking for is neoprene insulation and is usually black. The regular pipe insulation is brown and kind of styrofoamy (if that is a word).

That's what I used on my injector rails. Found it at Home Depot.

The 1" ID stuff (3/8" wall) (aka 9x25mm) *just* stretches to fit around the fuel cooler.
