did 928 community well...1st place PCA Zone one concours
Took the 91 GT (after a week + of clean and prep, wife thought I was loosing it!) to the PCA Zone 1 Concours at the Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth, NH.
Won 1st place in class ( 924-944-968-928). Scored 296.9 out of 300. Beat the perennial winner who has a 944 and only takes it out to shows. He has won first place last 3-4 years at the local Boston chapter PCA concours meet.
I didn't know they also check the spare tire, battery and fuse box (CE panel). I hadn't addressed them , but they were pretty clean and only got a couple tenth deductions.
Also enjoyed the ride home ( about 70 miles) on a great sunny New England day.

That is awesome Bob, congrats! You did better than I if you were able to beat Jeremy's 944, that thing has consistently won best in show over the past 10 years. You need to bring that GT to the show at Larz later this year. Don't forget to drive it too!

Thanks for the kind words.
Afshin, the guy with the 944 was Brian Laramee. he is the guy who had the custom plastic "mask" made for the front of his 944 so he could drive to shows and keep the front clean. Not sure if that is the same person you are referring to.
Also, I will be going to Larz Anderson in the fall for the Porschefest. I'll check the scoring sheet and make sure I correct the things that I got "dinged" on.
Couple shots of the car from this week as I was "prettying" her up.
