Default Wind noise from behind dash

I had my windscreen replaced recently, and since then there has been a lot of windnoise coming from, it seems like, behind the dashboard.
There are no water leaks and everything is fine until I reach 60km/h or over.
It's a sound of rushing wind, not a whistling sound.
What has been left off or not replaced to cause this?

Look to see the lower cowl panel and gasket look correct and sealing against windscreen. Also the cowl side trim or water drain strips if installed incorrectly could possibly create wind noise but i doubt that is it. Look for gaps that look wrong around the windshield. If everything looks OK...
Probably this: The Cover Strip (top trim) should have adhesive tape behind it or it can create wind noise i have found. The Cover Strip is the black metal molding at top of windscreen. Anybody else have any ideas??
Good luck

Not a 928, but ...

The windshield guy came and installed a windshield. Turns out it was the wrong one because it was supposed to have a mirror mount. So ...

The next day, another windshield guy, older and more experienced, arrived with the correct windshield and installed it.

When he removed the first one he found a 1-2" gap in the sealant/adhesive at the base of the windshield from the sloppy work of the first guy. His comment was, "That woulda whistled at ya on the freeway."

So I'd call the glass guys and complain. Good luck.

P.S. to Fixer, above. I think your Jefferson quote is bogus. Check out: http://www.monticello.org/site/jeffe...xist-quotation
I actually prefer the quote they find similar.

Use masking tape to tape all around the windshield. Then test drive and confirm that the noise is gone. Remove section by section and see when the noise comes back.

there should be foam strips placed under the tops of each corner trim the strips should be about 4 inches long center it in the corner and then let each end go you can find the closed cell foam rubber strip at ACE
this strip also works well to seal the front edges of the radiator to the side block off plates.

The GTS has Factory made foam filler strips,
these go from the top corner to the base of the windshield that could be retrofitted,
these are expensive.

Jerry feather makes some ABS filler strips that could also be installed, less expensive

FWIW after fitting the foam corner strips, most if not all of the of the wind noise should go away
