Any particular place you would recommend getting them from?

Thx

After the AT began to have rough jolts during shifting from second to third gear after fixing the vacuum lines on the A/C system, my mechanic followed the guidance from this board and the tech bulletin provided. The old defective modulator was replaced with a new MB unit and the vac line from the modulator to its forward connection was fixed. The mechanic drove the car, adjusted the transmission, and the shifting was improved but still rougher than it should be He then advised replacing all the vac lines and connectors forward of the a/c system and I bought a kit from Roger.

The mechanic said today that he has finished replacing all vac lines and connectors forward of the firewall, so now the entire vac system should be new and tight. He does not yet have a gauge to measure the vac pressure at the modulator but intends to do that soon. He drove the car and said it is shifting smoother than before. He wants to try another adjustment before I pick it up.

However, he mentioned a new fault that also occurred to me once when I was recently driving the car while waiting for Roger's vac kit to arrive.

The new fault is radical slowing of the car as the AT downshifts. This hadn't occurred before. It feels as if an anchor is being thrown overboard as the AT downshifts. The mechanic is uncertain what is causing this new issue, and I was wondering if anyone here might offer some advice in this regard.

As always, thank you so much for your help.

Gary,
Have at look at these.

Bowden, or kick down, cable adjustment is critical. Throttle cable adjustment is as critical as well.
