I received my luggage cover as sewn by Sandra at Schnellekurve and it is just fantastic! The material used is an accurate rendition of the original fabric used by Porsche. My original cover, now 24 years old, seemed to have some 'stretch' to it, but I cannot say if that is a function of the age of the material, or if (24 years ago), they figured-out how to weave some stretch into the material...much like a one-size-fits-all baseball cap.
The new cover does not stretch, but in appearance, it is absolutely dead-on.
Sandra had it finished in a few days, but it took another couple of weeks to get here from Germany.
Sandra can be reached via email at: luggage-cover@t-online.de
Coupled with Jerry Feather's new spare tire cover, the rear compartment of the 928 is looking pretty good.

Cool.. ![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
I've got one I had made up using the original fittings from one of my S4's - One of the local 928ers was admiring it last night, complete with leather tabs made with kangaroo leather![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
After looking for stretchy fabric for a while, I ended up going with double-lined 1mm neoprene. Both sides are covered in the thin nylon fabric, and its got a nice amount of stretch in all directions.
Its now in my DD, so only time will tell how well it holds up under our killer-high UV Aussie sun, but my experience of wetsuits here is that it should be good for more than a decade given its under tinted glass.

No English language version of the site. I simply emailed Sandra and she always responded the next day. I included her email in my first post; drop her a note and she communicates in very good English.
