928 616 1001 00 A/C Blower Resistor Pack 77-93 Main

The old one was an non-caged pack. Which connections need to be switched, as you are correct that the fan operates in position 4.

To close out this thread -

After installing Roger's new blower kit I was still not getting switched power to the AC compressor.

Did a complete AC service, replacing the receiver drier, expansion valve and low and high side ports.

Still no power to the AC compressor.

Additional troubleshooting indicated that 12V was going into the thermal (freeze) switch (928.613.133.00) but 0 volts out.

Jumpered that switch and now getting switched power to the AC compressor.

Replaced switch and all is now good.

Thanks to all for your assistance on this.
