Default Clicking from a/c vents.

Ive got an 86.5S with an issue I'd like to run by everyone. Its a got clicking noise coming from the vents that sounds like the fan is hitting something but only if the control lever is set to engage the floor vents.Switch it to the center and door vents and it stops. It also seems to only happen at freeway speeds and quiets down at around town speeds, like the outside airflow is causing something to shift.Thoughts?

Default

most likely you have leaks in the vacuum actuators that control airflow which causes the vent to "flap"...here is a test:

once car is warmed up....set vent to floor......does air flow well out the floor vent, or does it continue to flow mostly through center or door vents? Does the air flow out steady or does it seem to change with the "flapping"

Its also possible your center "comb" flap is not functioning properly.....which also is vac controlled
