Check your 14 pin connector by the hot post. Disconnect ground strap before doing this. I'm not sure of the pin # for the yellow starter wire on your year... I'm not sure of what year you we're dealing with (the one in your avatar ?). Is the 14 pin harness degraded ? Someone will post what pin # it is... I don't know off hand and can't access right now.

First remove and dissect the ground strap in the rear. You have not done this yet. You've jumpered it to body ground and no start, but are we sure that was a 'good' grounding. I've attached some pics of a deceptively appearing good ground strap. Dissect it. If it's good re-wrap with silicon self-vulcanazing tape.
From the 14 pin connector there should be a crucial 4.0 mm yellow wire which runs through the loom and goes to the starter. If it is this as your problem, the violation of the connection will most likely be at the 14 pin or at the starter itself.
Reaching the arm under and wiggling things won't get you there. There are several wires (some large) to the starter - you can miss the crucial connection by not getting under there. Get car up and have a look. Tell what you see.
The male side of the 14 pin connector is the output side. Carefully, and evenly remove the top up. Be careful is these pins can dislodge. Note corrosion, central wall degradation causing unwanted contacts, etc... I painstakingly cleaned my pins with a small wire brush after using a toothbrush with CLR - I had much oxidation. Be sure you have a 14 pin/hot post cover. I even followed Stan's recommendation and bonded a rubber sheet to protect the 'back end' under the hot post cover.
Less commonly affecting the starter wire from the connector to the starter would be down near the engine where heat can damage the wire. From down under follow the wire back up into its protective sheath. If it looks really heat damaged wires could be degraded. I had that problem and ended up pulling the entire wire harness, repairing and rebuilding, and thermally/physically protecting it.
Do all this with ground strap disconnected.
Do all this and tell us what you see.

Have you checked for a bad starter Relay or bad solenoid on the start itself? Do you get at least a clicking sound from the starter? Do you hear the starter relay activate?

FWIW hitting the starter with a hammer can crack the rare earth magnets,
then you will need a new starter,
better to use a dead blow hammer if your testing points to a frozen starter

One of the joys of working two jobs means little time to work on the car. So I'm getting a look at some things now and have attached some pictures. One picture is what I believe is the pin. I'm assuming the wire on the far right is the yellow one in question. Not sure if I have the correct side open however. Some dust came out when I opened it up. Am I in the right place?
I took a picture of the ground. I didn't disect the whole thing yet, but it looks pretty good to me at the top which is where I'm guessing it would be bad?
Last picture is just of the battery box and the positive wires. I did remove an amp so let me know if you see something weird.
