Wouldn't start after battery change

The main feed to the starter wire could have accumulated some corrosion over the winter. I feel like once you mess with the right thing it will start. Can you get under the car far enough to reach the starter wire and wiggle it a bit?

Check your 14 pin connector by the hot post. Disconnect ground strap before doing this. I'm not sure of the pin # for the yellow starter wire on your year... I'm not sure of what year you we're dealing with (the one in your avatar ?). Is the 14 pin harness degraded ? Someone will post what pin # it is... I don't know off hand and can't access right now.

OK lets start over
remove the battery terminals and clean them also clean the small wires that are connected to the positive terminal if there are any .
Pay attention to the positive terminal as it could be corroded where the main wire enters the leaded portion.
The 14 pin connector is at the jump post under the hood on the right side of the car just infont of the shock tower. its worth a look.
The next thing is that the starter connection of the big wire must be checked, jack up the car and with a jack stand placed loosen the wire and clean the connection,
NOTE do this with the battery disconnected.

I've taken a look at the pin. Wasn't super clean. Fiddled around with it a bit. Still having no luck. Had just installed the new battery so everything is clean. I guess I need to have this thing towed home. Anything I need to know about having it towed?

Did you remove both of the battery terminals and check /reclean them then refit them?
The 14 pin connector shopuld be pulled apart and look at the pins in the connector for corrosion.
Did you check the 13mm nut at the starter to see if its tight and corrosion free?
this is done with the battery disconnected
Could you have touched any of the ground connections in the spare tire well?
there are grounds that will stop the engine from cranking, the wires are at the front of the well

Well thanks for the suggestions guys. It's back in the garage now after a tow. I'll start trying some more of these suggestions and see what happens.

Depends where you attached the jump wires - if to the battery - you'd still have this problem.
It is highly likely its a ground strap problem from what you have said so far...

I tried to jump the ground by putting the jumper cable on the battery and on the frame. Would that not have fixed it?

Frame where exactly?
If you can be sure you have a good solid ground (best to use an actual ground point) and a connection to the front jump post or battery +terminal then it should work to eliminate the ground strap.
Else its a connection issue somewhere else:
If you see voltage drop when cranking then possibly alternator/starter most likley - jump post is possible too
If dash voltage doesn't drop then possibly a ground point issue - most likely at the CE panel or the engine ground strap.

Back by the battery area is the switched gnu wire for the starter relay.
It is a connector there that runs to tranny.
The way I found this was to create a jumper across my starter relay
Car would kick starter
Noticed switched power from ignition (50) which connects to 30 on relay.
The opposite side is the switched gnd
If no gnd, relay won't energise despite switched power
Stumped me for a bit
