I'm trying to remove the door lock motor on the P/S door.
The WSM tells you to remove the door lock cover first. OK
I removed the two screws and one bolt ( what a PITA). And I don't see a way for that cover to come out. It hits on the window on the backeside and the lock on the front. Advice?
to remove the internal lock cover otherwise known as the anti theft device,
remove the 2 phillips screws on the door,
then put the window up then loosen the 13mm bolt about 3 turns then put the window down and pull the cover out
I took that 13mm bolt all the way out. :'( I haven't tried with the window diwn yet. I'll do that when I get back home. Not sure I'll have time before I head off to Indiana this weekend. Oldest daughters graduation. Thanks Stan.
