Default How do you remove door lock cover?

I'm trying to remove the door lock motor on the P/S door.
The WSM tells you to remove the door lock cover first. OK
I removed the two screws and one bolt ( what a PITA). And I don't see a way for that cover to come out. It hits on the window on the backeside and the lock on the front. Advice?

Art,
Are you talking about the round ****? if so pick out the inner plastic and remove the screw. Then unscrew the round ****.

to remove the internal lock cover otherwise known as the anti theft device,
remove the 2 phillips screws on the door,
then put the window up then loosen the 13mm bolt about 3 turns then put the window down and pull the cover out

I took that 13mm bolt all the way out. :'( I haven't tried with the window diwn yet. I'll do that when I get back home. Not sure I'll have time before I head off to Indiana this weekend. Oldest daughters graduation. Thanks Stan.

Finally got home and had a chance to work on the door today. I rolled the window down and the security cover came right out. Thanks again Stan.
