I'm thinking of selling my S4 and I have real wood glue in accents. Do I remove them before pictures or leave it in and let the buyer decide?

Or will a buyer be so revulsed by my interior taste that it will cost me the sale?

Stock will appeal to a greater cross-section of buyers.

I got a number of e-mails and PM's from people inquiring about my car after it sold. By the looks of your interior that's a really nice car- go through it and address every little ditzel, detail the hell out of it and you will have a ready and willing market for it.

Those appear to be the pieces from Jager,

personally I have seen lots of them in person and they are horribly tacky (look OK in pictures, but not in person).

So I would vote for returning to stock for sale.

But you can always try to sell as is, and then remove if it doesnt move at the price you want!

removing all aspects of personal taste is usually the best option....make it look as new as possible down to wheels , tools , owners manual etc. most people prefer a virgin given the option even if that is short sighted !

You have a rare large button shifter - we only had a few of those before they became NLA. They are still my favorite; I have one of them in my own car.

If I remember correctly Nicole, I nearly had to hold you at gunpoint to get that shifter **** from you at the time.

I also got the Jager wood grain from you.

If I remove the wood grain could it be reinstalled? Will it crack the wood all to hell?

These wood kits are destroyed when removed. I'd let the buyer decide.

IIRC, one reason you went with it was because you wanted to match the interior more to the wood steering wheel that came with the car, and we tried to find materials that matched.

The idea of these wood kits is that you can add them when you like, and remove them without trace when you get tired of them or want something different. They are not permanent, but accommodate changing tastes by being removable.

Make sure you warm them up with a hair dryer before you attempt to remove any of the trim pieces!

I would leave it in. I have never cared for an all Black interior myself...too bland....but that's my personal taste.

You can't get the real wood bits any more, and it looks good from here.
I'd leave it. Explain to the buyer it's removable and irreplaceable.

BUT, in the pix I think those trim pieces look fairly elegant. In the flesh, as it were, who knows?

I would lose the "equals" sign in the circle at the top right of the stack.

leave them and let buyer decide. They look good in the pictures, and when someone comes to look at it in the flesh, you can tell them how easy they are to remove, but get destroyed in the process.

I have never liked wood in any car but if it is indeed real wood then I'd leave it. It is not my taste but I can sure see how a lot people would like it.
