Well, it seems to have worked. That's what really matters.

Did you ever trace the conductor paths to see what the broken ones led to?

It may be something you wouldn't notice normally.
Or it may be that they are touching and making contact when the CB is in place.

And for the oil pressure - Does it read zero when the key is on but the motor isn't running? That would indicate that it's working. If it's pegged at the top when the motor is stopped (as in no oil pressure) then there's an issue.

Yeah, I just checked it today. It pegs all the way to 5 when the key is turned on, motor off. Yay to more troubleshooting.
