Default Temperature Sensor vs. Temperature Switch?

Diagnosing a check engine light and feeling a bit silly. I can't get the rennlist forum search to work for me today.

Need help identifying the Engine Temperature Sensor II. I believe it is the one with the blue plug on the left side of the oil filler? What is the second one on the right with the brown plug?

The blue one is Temp II, the brown one is the sensor for the temp gauge on the instrument board.

Thanks for confirming for me Leon. Appreciate that.

I'm going to pull the temp II and test it at full range.
