There are several speed limits on the Nordschleife... You can rock up in anything, but it must be capable of at least 40mph, be roadworthy to German TUV standards and be insured 3d party... And yes, the Polizei treat is as road during Touristenfahrt... The graffitti is amusing, but it could be a right pain in the backside as there are several places where it does actually affect braking zones...
