928 Mechanic in SF Bay Area (Walnut Creek)
I thought I'd put in a brief word of endorsement for that rare individual:
A Porsche mechanic that LIKES 928s and is patient enough to search for the root cause of some of our weird problems. Eric just did a TB/WP plus other assorted belts and gears on my '82 using Porken tensioner parts from Roger. He is now a fan of the PK tensioner. I have to say that my '82 has never run smoother.
Eric used to race a 944 and currently maintains a bunch of 911 and other race cars, so he is not just a 928 guy. He is also a nice person. He also just doesn't fix the reported problem but looks over the car for other issues and either just fixes them at no additional charge if not a big deal or calls with recommendations.
