Default 84 Euro start up video

Ok, I had to put the euro start up on hold until I dropped the tank, flushed it out, and then replaced the fuel pump, filter, and line.

here is its first start up. you will notice that it turns over, but will not stay running. I should add that it will idle, but when the gas pedal is depressed, it cuts off right away.

any ideas?

Could be lots of things, but the first thing that springs to mind is that there's crap in the lines somewhere and it only just getting enough fuel to idle, and even then not for long.

Did you flush the system after doing the other work, and before the start up?

yes, but not entirely. I didnt flush the lines coming from the fuel filter to the motor. the tank, pump filter and line from tank to pump are all clean. I know it could be lots of things, and it is a stretch to ask for a diagnosis over the internet. I was hoping that someone had a similar experience and could add input.

I got a ton of crap for saying I was going to put a sbc in this euro. You guys talked me out of it, and I am trying to do the "right" thing. Help appreciated.
