So far I haven't managed to find out what it is but I have suspicion its same as M231 and M232.

231 Change of manufacturer of tyre installed on the production line (not customer selectable)
232 Change of manufacturer of tyre installed on the production line (not customer selectable)

M239 can be similar where factory put different tires on production line and marked this into option list. Almost all GTS have M239. If it were something more visible on it would be known by now what it is.

Thank you!!!

Interesting that the link for the 87 shows that it's a 5 speed...even though my car is an automatic.

Link is Rennlist automated thing which do not have much connection with reality. It just pops into message in case site software identifies piece of text to be 17 digit VIN. Code doesn't know ROW VINs at all for example. In theory it could find all same data as what is available at Porsche factory but for obvious reasons Porsche doesn't want to make it accessable.

If it's not too much trouble to ask, would you mind running mine?

WPOJBO927HSH60870

Just curious, the sticker in the boot was removed.

Yes, phone Porsche customer service at your regional Porsche HQ and ask them

(In my case, I phoned Porsche GB's headquarters in Reading, UK - as my car was ex-UK)
