Default Injector cleaner additive

Hi. Is it OK / advisable to add injector cleaner to a ’87 shark’s tank, especially before going for a longish drive?
Thanks

Can´t hurt but don´t expect big improvements.
If you think your injectors are in need of a cleaning, take them out and get them professionally cleaned and flow tested.

It´s good for the vendor and bad for your wallet

BG44K is typically the best touted as the best system cleaner. But that's only a temporary fix on getting some of that crud off of them.

Like Schoki said, get 'em out, get 'em cleaned. I don't know of any places in Aussie but I'm sure someone will chime in on a place.
