Default WTB Nakamichi CD400

Hi, although the original Blaupunkt Köln SQR23 is still working properly (used for FM reception mostly), I am tempted by replacing with a Nakamichi CD400 which is not available on this side of the pond. Second move would be to upgrade the original speakers.
If anyone got one on his shelf for sale, please PM me.
Thanks,
Ralph

Hi Roger, I did see offers on ebait + amasong that have now suddenly jumped by a100 bucks. But next to expensive shipping down to here will get the nice adders of customs charges and vat. That will pump up the cost to discouraging level.
Will send you a pm.
Cheers,

Would the CD 300 work? seems to be cheaper.

The cd 300 regretfully has no aux input to allow external mp3 connection, otherwise same look and close performance as per specs. Going for change, would rather go for the best.

IF you want to use the radio for AM reception, a US radio will have different spacing between tuning than the Euro ones. Euro uses 9 kHz and US uses 10 Khz.

My Euro Becker DTM receives US stations that are within 2 kHz of the radio tuning OK, but those that are 4 or 5 kHz different are not receivable.
