Half the fun is just getting there. The roads in this part of the country are amazing and go on for hundreds of miles.

THere were a few different caravans. I wonder how many states/provinces where represent. I'm thinking close to 20. Off the top of my head I recall:

Washington
Kansas
Ontario
Michigan
Ohio
Kentucky
Tennessee
North Carolina
Georgia
Florida
Quebec
Maine
Connecticut
Maryland
Pennsylvania
New Jersey
Virginia
???

Oh yeah, and a set of plates from New Mexico, but not living there now.

Looking forward to next year!

Ditto, but I think next year I would like to do the BRP for the second half of the Alcoa run.

This year was the best driving I have ever had, period. Kudos to AO for the route.

Just no heart shaped tube next year.

I agree that everyone there was great, as you can tell we all had a really good time, whatever we did. Thanks for keeping this going Dave and Jeannie!!!

Kevin glad you were close to home, I hit those flood-showers around Roanoke....I cannot believe my car did not leak!....but I made it through and got to follow a brand new White 911 Carerra S to Lynchburg... fun stuff!

The thing I liked was right after I got there I immediately saw a lot of my friends from last year. I also made some new ones this year, so it just keeps getting better. Definitely a very good quality of cars attended as well....oh yeah and the PRime Rib was excellent by the way.

See all you guys (and gals) next year!

Did anyone record a video of the event this year? It would be cool to see if someone did.

I was eventually doing 108 miles of skyline drive thursday at the end of the day, 300 miles of BRP friday, and 200 miles of BRP heading north on sunday morning going home... Awesome, all of it. It is more fun the more 928s are with you.

The only bad thing was the venue change. I lost my car parking job.

Just kidding of course....perhaps I can actually drive my 928 up one of these years!

Thanks again DR and J !
